Getting your controller ready takes just a few minutes. Follow this standard workflow to get started.

1. Open & Detect Controller

Launch the application. Plug in your game controller via USB or connect via Bluetooth. Xpadder will automatically detect the device and open a blank layout screen.

2. Apply a Visual Layout

To make mapping easier, you can load a background image of your specific controller. Go to the Image tab and open a BMP or JPG file that matches your gamepad.

3. Map Your Buttons

Press a physical button on your controller. A corresponding square will light up on the screen. Click that square with your mouse, and a virtual keyboard will pop up. Select the key you want to assign (e.g., 'Spacebar').

4. Save Your Profile

Once you've mapped your D-Pad, thumbsticks, and buttons, click the "Save Profile" icon. Name it after the game you are playing so you can easily load it later.

How to Uninstall Xpadder Software
